Due Date Calculator

Calculate your estimated due date (EDD), current gestational age, trimester progress, and fetal growth milestone schedule.

Uses standard clinical Naegele’s Rule calculations adjusted for menstrual cycle length, conception date, IVF transfer date, or ultrasound findings.

Key Pregnancy Milestones

Estimated timeline of important fetal development milestones based on your calculation:

Milestone Event Estimated Date
Fetal Heartbeat Detectable (~6 Wks)March 08, 2026
End of 1st Trimester (~12 Wks)April 19, 2026
Fetal Sex Identifiable via Ultrasound (~18-20 Wks)May 31, 2026
End of 2nd Trimester (~27 Wks)August 02, 2026
Full-Term Pregnancy (39 Wks)November 08, 2026
Clinical Notice: An Estimated Due Date (EDD) is a guiding reference. Most healthy births occur between 37 and 42 weeks of gestation. A first-trimester ultrasound provides the most precise date confirmation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why does the due date formula assume a 28-day cycle?

Naegele’s standard rule assumes a traditional 28-day menstrual cycle with ovulation occurring on day 14. This calculator automatically adjusts your due date if your average cycle length is shorter or longer than 28 days.

What is the difference between Gestational Age and Embryonic Age?

Gestational age is measured from the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). Embryonic age (the actual age of fertilization) is typically 2 weeks younger than gestational age.

Why might an ultrasound due date differ from an LMP due date?

First-trimester ultrasounds directly measure fetal Crown-Rump Length (CRL). If the discrepancy between ultrasound and LMP dates is greater than 5 to 7 days, clinicians typically rely on the ultrasound due date.
